Danielle Deane

Danielle Deane’s passion for sustainability and equity is coupled with a unique blend of public policy strategy and environmental experience spanning the philanthropy, think tank, Fortune 500 and science sectors. Her portfolio includes managing the Green 2.0 working group convened by The Raben Group to accelerate efforts to address diversity challenges within the environmental movement. Previously, as the Director of the Energy and Environment Program at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Danielle managed the Commission to Engage African Americans on Energy, Climate Change and the Environment. The Commission includes Texas State Senator Rodney Ellis and former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson. Danielle worked with partners including the Walmart Foundation, AME Church, and General Motors. She remains a Joint Center Senior Fellow.
