Jorge Figueroa

Mr. Figueroa joined Western Resource Advocates in 2010 and has local and international project management and organizing experience in the United States, Central and South America, and India. He served as a Project Associate/Research Faculty Member for the Governors' Climate and Forests (GCF) Task Force at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder. He was a Fulbright Scholar in India where he worked on wildlife, community governance systems, and climate change innovation with the Centre for Ecological Sciences of the India Institute of Science-Bengaluru. He was also an American Bar Association Environmental Law Fellow with the Urban Program of the National Resources Defense Council. Mr. Figueroa holds a Master's Degree in Forestry from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science, and a Juris Doctor with certificates in environmental law and international law from Pace University School of Law.
